The Incredibles is a Pixar animated film released in 2004. The film focuses on the Parr family, who are all superheroes with special powers. However, they are forced to live in secrecy and give up their superhero identities due to a public backlash and legal action against superheroes. Bob Parr, known as Mr. Incredible, now works in insurance and hides his powers from his family.
When Bob is approached by a mysterious woman named Mirage who offers him a secret mission, he sees it as a chance to relive his glory days. However, he soon realizes that he has been tricked by a former fan of his who has turned against him. Along with his family, including his wife Helen (Elastigirl), and their children Violet and Dash, who also have superpowers, Bob must work together to defeat the villain Syndrome and his army of robots.
The Incredibles was praised for its animation, humor, and unique storyline, which combined elements of superhero films and family dramas. The film won two Academy Awards and was followed by a sequel, Incredibles 2, released in 2018, which was also a commercial success.
