The Incredible Hulk is a 2008 superhero film directed by Louis Leterrier, starring Edward Norton as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Liv Tyler as Betty Ross, and Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky/Abomination. The movie serves as a reboot to the 2003 film Hulk, directed by Ang Lee.

The story begins with Bruce Banner living in hiding in Brazil, trying to find a way to cure himself of the Hulk's influence. However, General Thaddeus Ross, who has been chasing Banner for years, is still after him, and sends a team led by Emil Blonsky to capture him. During the confrontation, Banner's transformation into the Hulk is witnessed, and he is forced to flee.

Banner returns to the United States to seek out Dr. Samuel Sterns, a scientist who has been researching gamma radiation. In exchange for his help, Banner gives Sterns his own blood samples, hoping that he can create a cure. Unfortunately, Blonsky, who has become obsessed with gaining power and defeating the Hulk, undergoes a dangerous procedure to become a super soldier, and ends up becoming the monstrous Abomination.

The final battle takes place in Harlem, where the Hulk and Abomination face off in an epic showdown. In the end, the Hulk emerges victorious, and he and Betty go on the run together, with Banner realizing that he can never truly be cured of the Hulk.

The film received positive reviews for its action sequences and special effects, and grossed over $263 million worldwide.
