The In Crowd is a psychological thriller released in 2000. The story revolves around Adrien Williams (played by actress Susan Ward), a troubled young woman who takes a job at an elite country club in order to start over. She quickly makes friends with a group of wealthy college kids who are known as "the in-crowd" - a clique of snobbish and entitled young people who spend their days lounging by the pool, drinking and partying.
Adrien is initially accepted into the group and becomes close to Brittany Foster (played by Lori Heuring), the group's charismatic and manipulative leader. However, as she begins to uncover the dark secrets behind the group's seemingly perfect facade, she realizes that things are not what they seem.
As Adrien starts to dig deeper, she discovers that Brittany has a dark past that she has been hiding from everyone, including her closest friends. She also finds out that the group is involved in some illegal activities, and that they will stop at nothing to protect their secrets.
As Adrien gets sucked deeper into their world, she realizes that she has become a pawn in their twisted game, and that her life is in danger. In order to survive, she must uncover the truth and find a way to escape from the clutches of the in-crowd before it's too late.
