In The Hurricane Heist, a team of criminals attempt to steal $600 million from a U.S. Treasury Mint facility in Gulfport, Alabama, as a Category 5 hurricane is about to hit the area. The heist is led by a disgruntled Treasury agent, Breeze, who recruits a group of mercenaries to help him carry out the plan.
Meanwhile, the Mint's head of security, Casey, is on duty during the hurricane and finds herself caught up in the middle of the heist. With the aid of a meteorologist named Will, who is monitoring the storm, Casey fights back against the robbers in an attempt to protect the Mint and keep the money safe.
As the hurricane rages on, the group of thieves faces a number of obstacles, including power outages, flooding, and a shifting safe room. With time running out and the storm intensifying, Casey and Will race against the clock to stop Breeze and his team before they can make off with the loot.
