The House That Jack Built is a psychological horror film directed by Lars von Trier, which follows a highly intelligent and meticulous serial killer named Jack (played by Matt Dillon) over the course of twelve years. As the story progresses, Jack becomes increasingly emboldened, taking more risks and indulging in increasingly brutal acts of violence. He is pursued by the police but repeatedly evades capture, leading to a tense and bloody conclusion.
The House That Jack Built is known for its graphic violence, disturbing imagery, and controversial subject matter, which led to much controversy upon its release.
