Dane, Lucas, and Julie are three teenagers who move into a new house with their parents. As they explore the house, they come across a door that leads to a locked basement. When they manage to open the basement door, they discover a mysterious hole in the ground that seems to have no bottom.
Curious about the hole, Dane, Lucas, and Julie decide to investigate and drop various objects into it. But when they do, strange things start happening. They begin to see strange shadows lurking in the house, and their worst nightmares start coming to life.
The trio soon realizes that the hole is not just an ordinary hole, but a portal to a dark and terrifying world. As they try to investigate and find a way to close the hole, they encounter various challenges and setbacks. They are forced to confront their deepest fears and work together to put an end to the mystery of the hole before it consumes them all.
The Hole is a suspenseful and spine-chilling horror movie that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats. It stars Chris Massoglia, Haley Bennett, and Nathan Gamble and is directed by Joe Dante. The movie is loosely based on the novel, The Hole, by Guy Burt.
