George and Lucia, eager to move into their first home together, initially brushes off the warnings from the locals about the haunted house. However, strange occurrences soon start to happen: doors slamming shut, objects moving on their own, and whispers in the night. As they investigate, they realize that the house is indeed haunted by the ghosts of the two cursed lovers.
Upon discovering the truth about the curse, George and Lucia realize they must spend their wedding night inside the haunted house and break the curse to free the two lovers. They embark on a quest to find the ingredients needed to perform the ritual that will break the curse, all while being pursued by the vengeful ghost of the girl's mother.
With the help of a wise old local, the newlyweds gather the necessary items and perform the ritual on their wedding night. As they do, they witness the transformation of the two pillars of salt back into long-lost lovers who embrace and fade away into the afterlife.
The movie concludes with George and Lucia, relieved to have survived the ordeal, settling into their new home, now free from the haunting. However, the experience has brought them closer and given them newfound respect for the power of the supernatural.
