The Hard Word is an Australian crime-comedy film directed by Scott Roberts. It stars Guy Pearce, Rachel Griffiths, and Joel Edgerton as three brothers, Dale, Mal, and Shane, who are bank robbers.
The brothers are serving time in prison and are approached by a corrupt lawyer, Frank (Robert Taylor), who offers them a deal to carry out a bank heist.
