The Hangover Part II takes place in Bangkok, Thailand, where Stu is set to marry his fiancée, Lauren. Stu, Phil, and Doug are back again, along with Stu's future brother-in-law, Teddy. The group decides to have a modest bachelor party with a brunch, and all seems to be going well until they decide to have one beer on the beach.
The next morning, they wake up in a seedy hotel room in Bangkok, and Teddy is missing. They have no memory of the previous night and must retrace their steps to find Teddy and piece together what happened. Along the way, they encounter vicious gangsters, a drug kingpin, a transvestite stripper, and a tattoo artist with a thing for Mike Tyson.
As they try to find Teddy, they uncover clues that lead them to various seedy locations throughout the city, including a strip club, a monastery, and a police station. Along the way, they must deal with increasingly disastrous consequences of their actions from the night before.
The Hangover Part II is a wild, raunchy, and hilarious comedy that keeps audiences on the edge of their seats with its non-stop action and unpredictable twists and turns.
