The Hammer is a 2010 biographical sports drama film that is based on the true story of Matt Hamill, a deaf wrestler who rose to fame in the world of wrestling. The movie follows Matt's life from his childhood in a small town in upstate New York to his college years when he became the first deaf wrestler to ever win a National Collegiate Wrestling Championship.
