The Guilty is a 2021 American crime thriller film directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by Nic Pizzolatto. The film follows the story of Joe Baylor, a troubled police detective who has been demoted to the role of a 911 operator. He receives a call from a woman who claims to have been abducted, and he must use all his detective skills to try and track her down before it's too late.
As Joe works to unravel the mysterious case through the phone, he comes to realize that not everything is as it seems. With each passing minute, the situation becomes more and more desperate, and Joe finds himself drawn deeper into the high-stakes drama of the woman's abduction.
