The Good Thief is a 2002 crime thriller film directed by Neil Jordan and starring Nick Nolte. The movie tells the story of Bob Montagnet, a former heroin addict and compulsive gambler who is offered the chance to take part in the ultimate heist – stealing a priceless collection of art worth millions of dollars from the Casino Riviera in Monte Carlo.
Bob assembles a team of skilled thieves to execute the heist, including his old friend Raoul, a reformed thief named Paulo, and a young hacker named Anne. Despite the odds against them, the team manages to successfully pull off the heist, but things quickly go wrong when they discover that the police are hot on their trail.
As the team tries to escape with the stolen art, they find themselves pursued by both the police and a ruthless local gangster named Remi. Bob must use all his skills and wit to stay one step ahead of both law enforcement and Remi as he tries to protect his team and ensure that they escape with the priceless art collection.
