The Golden Boys is a 2008 romantic comedy film directed by Daniel Adams and starring David Carradine, Rip Torn, and Bruce Dern as the three retired sea captains, and Mariel Hemingway as the bride-to-be. The film is based on a novel by Joseph C. Lincoln.
The story takes place in 1905 in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. After receiving many responses, they select Catherine, a beautiful and wealthy young woman from Nantucket. However, when Catherine arrives, the captains get cold feet and can't decide which one of them should marry her. As they struggle to make a decision, they all fall for Catherine and she becomes the object of a hilarious love triangle.
Meanwhile, a young artist named Felicity, who is smitten with one of the captains, sets out to compete for his affections. The story unfolds with humor, pathos, and a surprising twist ending.
