Rescue Mission: Xixo's Wild Journey

Action,Comedy  Botswana,United States of America,South Africa

The Gods Must Be Crazy II is a 1989 comedy film directed by Jamie Uys. It is a sequel to the 1980 film The Gods Must Be Crazy and follows the adventures of Xixo, a San bushman who lives in the Kalahari Desert.

In this film, Xixo's children accidentally stow away on a truck, which is full of poachers who are illegally hunting elephants. Xixo sets out to rescue his children and follows the truck through the wilderness, encountering various obstacles along the way.

One of the obstacles is a group of soldiers who are chasing each other through the desert, playing a game of cat and mouse. Xixo inadvertently gets caught up in their game and is mistaken for an enemy soldier.

Meanwhile, a pilot and passenger in a small plane are having a few problems of their own. They crash-land in the desert and are stranded without food or water. Xixo comes across them and tries to help, but they don't speak his language and are initially wary of him.

As the film progresses, Xixo manages to outsmart the poachers, reunite with his children, and save the day. Along the way, he also manages to help the soldiers and the plane crash victims, proving that even people from vastly different cultures can work together and overcome obstacles when they need to.
