The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest is the third installment of the Millennium Series based on the novels by Swedish author Stieg Larsson. The movie follows Lisbeth Salander, a young computer hacker and social misfit who has been savagely abused in her past and seeks justice through taking matters into her own hands.

The movie begins with Salander being rushed to the hospital after being shot in the head by her father, who is revealed to be a Russian spy. While recovering in the hospital, Salander discovers that her father is attempting to have her killed to cover up a scheme involving high-ranking officials in the Swedish government.

Meanwhile, Mikael Blomkvist and his team at Millennium magazine are focusing their attention on exposing the corrupt officials who have conspired against Salander. However, their work puts them in direct conflict with the Swedish Security Service who are determined to keep the scandal hidden at all costs.

As the trial approaches, Salander is forced to confront her own traumatic past and face powerful enemies who are intent on destroying her. With the help of Blomkvist and her own unique abilities, Salander must unravel a complicated web of deceit and bring her enemies to justice before it's too late.
