Margot had always felt guilty about her sister Evie's death, as she was the last one to see her alive before she was brutally murdered in their family home 20 years before. When Margot returns to the house with her husband and daughter, she is immediately plagued by eerie occurrences and intense visions of her sister's ghost.
Each night at exactly 09:09pm, Evie's ghost appears to Margot, leading her to uncover long buried secrets that her family had kept hidden for decades. As Margot's obsession with solving her sister's murder intensifies, she begins to unravel a web of lies and deceit that ultimately leads her to the shocking truth.
But as Margot gets closer and closer to learning the identity of Evie's killer, she realizes that her own life may be in danger. With the help of her husband and a local detective, Margot races against time to catch the killer before they strike again.
