The Get Together is a coming-of-age comedy-drama film that follows the lives of three very different characters: August, a twenty-something college graduate who has just moved to Austin, Texas to start her new job; Caleb, a struggling musician who still lives with his parents and hopes to make it big; and Trinity, a young woman who is in a committed long-term relationship with her boyfriend Sean.
On the night of a house party, their lives intersect in unexpected ways, and they are forced to confront their fears, insecurities, and dreams. August meets Caleb and they bond over their mutual love of music, while Trinity questions her decision to stay committed to Sean when she meets someone else at the party.
As the night progresses, they all have to navigate the highs and lows of their respective situations, and find the courage to make difficult decisions. Along the way, they learn that growing up is not easy but it's a journey worth taking.
