The Garbage Pail Kids Movie was released in 1987 and is based on the popular trading cards of the same name. The seven disgusting kids created from the green mud are named Valerie Vomit, Ali Gator, Foul Phil, Nat Nerd, Messy Tessie, Windy Winston, and Greaser Greg. Each has their own unique personality and abilities.
Their master is a man named Captain Manzini who owns a magic antique shop. He created the Garbage Pail Kids and gives them rules to follow in order to keep them in line. However, the kids have a mischievous and rebellious streak and often break the rules.
One day, a boy named Dodger comes across the Garbage Pail Kids and befriends them. Together, they navigate the world and cause chaos wherever they go. Dodger also has a crush on a girl named Tangerine who works in a nearby clothing store.
The main conflict arises when a gang of bullies, led by a boy named Juice, tries to extort money from Dodger's friends including Captain Manzini. The Garbage Pail Kids decide to help out and end up getting into a fight with the bullies.
Throughout the movie, the Garbage Pail Kids push the boundaries and challenge authority while also learning the value of friendship and loyalty. The film received negative reviews upon its release but has since become a cult classic amongst fans of the Garbage Pail Kids franchise.
