In The Ganzfeld Haunting, five college friends - named Lucy, Derek, Ben, Maya, and Julian - set out to conduct an experiment on extrasensory perception (ESP) and telepathy during a weekend retreat. They plan to use the Ganzfeld Effect, which involves sensory deprivation to induce a hallucinatory state, as a means to enhance their psychic abilities.
With the help of their professor, who provides them with equipment and guidance, the group begins their experiment. However, things quickly go awry, and they start experiencing strange and terrifying phenomena that blur the line between reality and imagination.
As the weekend progresses, the students become increasingly paranoid and mistrustful of each other as they struggle to distinguish between what is real and what is not. They start to uncover dark secrets about themselves and their past, which may have triggered the haunting experiences.
While some members of the group try to unravel the mystery behind the haunting, others become increasingly lost in their own delusions and hallucinations. The climax of the movie reveals the shocking truth about the events, and the students must confront their fears and overcome their psychic abilities, or risk losing themselves forever to the haunting.
