Tod and Copper are eager to join the band but are initially rejected by them. However, after showing off their musical talents, the Singin' Strays invite them to become part of their band. Together, they prepare for a big performance at the fair to impress the talent scout.
As they rehearse, tensions rise between Waylon and Floyd, who are fighting for the spotlight. Meanwhile, Tod and Copper struggle to find their place in the band and wonder if they're good enough to perform with the professionals. Granny Rose teaches them that everyone has their own unique talent and encourages them to embrace their individual strengths.
At the fair, the Singin' Strays' performance goes well until Waylon and Floyd's argument escalates and causes a major disruption. Tod and Copper step in to save the performance with their song, "We're in Harmony," which impresses the talent scout and earns the band a contract.
The movie ends with Tod and Copper parting ways, but promising to be friends forever. The Singin' Strays embark on a new journey, leaving the audience with the message that friendship and the pursuit of one's passion are important and rewarding.
