The princess in the movie is named Nisa and she belongs to a tribe in the Amazon rainforest that has been protecting the region from outsiders for centuries. However, when a construction company called L.A. conglomerate threatens to destroy their homes, Nisa decides to take action.
Nisa travels all the way to Los Angeles to try and raise awareness about the destruction that is about to take place in her home. There, she meets a wealthy man named Jason who helps her come up with the idea of using the forbidden dance of lambada to grab the attention of the media and public.
Together, Nisa and Jason enter a lambada dance contest, hoping to win the grand prize of $5,000 to fund their cause. They face many challenges and obstacles along the way, including Nisa's disapproving tribe who believes the lambada dance is immoral.
As their relationship grows stronger, Nisa and Jason realize they share a mutual love for each other and the environment. In the end, they successfully use their lambada dance to raise awareness about the danger faced by the Amazon rainforest and help save Nisa's tribe's homes from destruction.
