The two strangers are Paige and Dylan, both in the marketing industry. They initially clash with each other, but due to the snowstorm, they are forced to spend more time together. As they spend time together, they begin to learn about each other's personal and professional lives, leading to a mutual understanding and a budding attraction.
The bed-and-breakfast is owned by a couple named Frank and Louise, who also happen to be hosting a Christmas Eve celebration. Throughout the movie, various guests arrive at the bed-and-breakfast, including a family with a young daughter who is eager to meet Santa Claus, a group of college students on a ski trip, and a couple celebrating their anniversary.
As the night progresses, Paige and Dylan help Frank and Louise with the party preparations, and even end up dressing up in Santa and Mrs. Claus costumes to entertain the young girl. Along the way, they also learn about the true meaning of the holiday season and the importance of family and friendships.
In the end, Paige and Dylan share a romantic moment and realize their connection is more than just professional. They make plans to see each other again, and the group celebrates a joyous Christmas together. The movie ends with Paige and Dylan's flight finally being able to take off, but they choose to stay and spend more time with their new friends.
