"The Favourite" is a period drama film directed by Yorgos Lanthimos and written by Deborah Davis and Tony McNamara. Released in 2018, the movie is set in early 18th century England and tells the story of a bitter rivalry that develops between two cousins vying to be the favourite of Queen Anne.
