Lee Khan is a ruthless military commander working for the Mongolian Emperor Yuan. He is tasked with securing the battle map of Chu Yuan-Chang's rebel army. The map is believed to hold the key to the rebellion's success. Khan sets out to retrieve the map, but he soon learns that rebel spies are onto him.
As Khan makes his way to a remote inn in the countryside, he is ambushed by rebel forces. However, he manages to elude them and make it to the inn where he meets the innkeeper, his family, and a group of travelers. The travelers are on edge when they learn that Khan is a top-ranking official in the Mongolian army.
The fate of Lee Khan becomes intertwined with that of the travelers as they are all put in danger by rebel spies who have infiltrated the inn. The travelers include a reluctant hero, a pair of young lovers, a con artist, and a shady businessman. Each has their own reasons for being at the inn, and they all become embroiled in a deadly game of cat and mouse with the rebels.
As the night wears on, tensions rise, and secrets are revealed. Relationships are tested as the fate of Lee Khan hangs in the balance. The travelers must work together to defeat the rebels and ensure that Khan does not leave the inn with the battle map. In the end, the travelers emerge victorious, and Lee Khan pays the ultimate price for his treachery.
