In The Expendables 3, Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone) is feeling the weight of his age and the numerous battles he has fought as a part of The Expendables. However, when his old partner and enemy Conrad Stonebanks (Mel Gibson) resurfaces, Barney feels compelled to take him down once and for all.
After a failed attempt to capture Stonebanks, Barney realizes that his old tactics may not be enough to defeat this new enemy. He decides to enlist the help of a younger, tech-savvy group of Expendables to help bring down Stonebanks. This new team includes characters played by Kellan Lutz, Ronda Rousey, and Glen Powell.
As Stonebanks continues to plot against The Expendables, they must come together to use their combined skills and experience to stop him. Along the way, they also confront personal demons and find a sense of camaraderie and brotherhood in their mission.
