The Exorcism of Emily Rose is a supernatural horror film based on the true story of Anneliese Michel, a young German woman who died in 1976 after undergoing Catholic exorcism rites. In the film, Emily Rose is a college student who begins experiencing frightening hallucinations and strange behavior, leading her to believe she is possessed by demons.
