The Escape from Auschwitz is a 2020 Polish film directed by Konrad Styś and based on the true story of Kazimierz Piechowski, a Polish political prisoner who was sent to Auschwitz during the Second World War. The film recounts the heroic attempt by Piechowski and his three compatriots (Stanisław Gustaw Jaster, Józef Lempart, and Eugeniusz Bendera) to escape from the notorious concentration camp in 1942.
