The Dungeonmaster, also known as Ragewar, is a 1984 American science fiction and horror anthology film directed by six different directors and produced by Charles Band. The film follows Paul, a computer programmer and video game enthusiast, who is transported by an evil sorcerer named Mestema into a bizarre alternate dimension. Mestema appears to be a powerful and malevolent being who is responsible for setting up a series of challenges aimed at testing Paul's intelligence, cunning, and fighting abilities.
Paul's primary weapon is a computerized wristband that Mestema created for him, which can manipulate and control any electronic device. Throughout the film, Paul is confronted with various challenges, including battling a giant snake, fighting a group of robot soldiers, and rescuing his girlfriend from a sadistic carnival freak show.
As Paul continues to defeat Mestema's challenges, the sorcerer becomes increasingly frustrated and vengeful. At the end of the film, Paul is forced to confront Mestema in a final showdown, which takes place in a surreal and nightmarish landscape. After a fierce battle, Paul ultimately emerges victorious, and Mestema is destroyed.
