Bo, Luke and Daisy Duke are three young cousins who move to Hazzard County, Georgia to live with their Uncle Jesse, after their parents are sent to jail. Upon their arrival, they discover that their uncle is a moonshiner, making illegal alcohol to make a living. Jesse is constantly battling with the corrupt Boss Hogg, who is the city commissioner of Hazzard County. Boss Hogg and his bumbling nephew, Deputy Enos, are consistently trying to swindle people out of their money and take control of the town. Bo, Luke and Daisy vow to help their uncle and take on Boss Hogg and his cronies. Along the way, the Duke cousins acquire their iconic car, the General Lee, which they use to perform daring stunts while trying to outrun Boss Hogg and the law. The movie is filled with action-packed car chases, comedic moments and lots of Southern charm.
