The Double Hour is a 2009 Italian film directed by Giuseppe Capotondi. The film stars Kseniya Rappoport as Sonia, a Slovenian chambermaid working at a hotel in Turin, Italy, and Filippo Timi as Guido, a former policeman who was paralyzed in the line of duty.
The two meet at a speed dating event and instantly hit it off. They go on a romantic weekend getaway to a secluded villa in the countryside, but things take a dark turn when they are attacked by a group of masked men. Guido is shot and Sonia is left traumatized.
As Sonia recovers in hospital, it is revealed that she has a mysterious past involving a former lover who died in a car accident. Guido becomes suspicious of Sonia's story and begins to dig deeper into her past.
