Jaclyn is a successful career woman in her mid-thirties, but has always dreamed of becoming a mother. However, after a messy divorce and several failed attempts at online dating, she feels like time is running out for her to fulfill her goal of starting a family.
Determined to take matters into her own hands, Jaclyn turns to her two best friends, Samantha and Mary, for support. Together, they come up with a plan to throw a "donor party" where Jaclyn can meet and choose a suitable sperm donor.
The party is a wild and raucous affair, with a room full of potential donors and plenty of alcohol. Jaclyn is nervous but excited at the prospect of finally achieving her dream. As the night wears on, she begins to narrow down her choices and eventually selects a donor.
With the help of her friends, Jaclyn begins the process of getting pregnant and, despite a few bumps in the road, ultimately becomes a mother. Along the way, she learns that family doesn't always look the way we expect it to, and sometimes the most loving and supportive relationships come from unexpected places.
