Dr. Worley, a psychiatrist, is called to the town of Devonsville to investigate a bizarre series of events that are believed to be the result of a centuries-old witch's curse. As he delves deeper into the situation, he discovers that three strong-willed and self-assured women have recently moved to Devonsville, causing the male-dominated town fathers to become increasingly agitated and fearful.
It soon becomes clear that one of the women is a reincarnation of the town's infamous witch, and she begins to exact her revenge upon the men of Devonsville. As more and more of the town's secrets are revealed, including a history of illicit affairs and brutal murders, Dr. Worley realizes that he may be the only one who can stop the witch's deadly rampage.
The film is a classic example of the "witches seeking revenge" genre, popular in the 1980s, and features a number of visceral and disturbing scenes that are sure to satisfy horror fans. Despite its low budget and occasionally clunky dialogue, The Devonsville Terror is an effective and entertaining horror film that offers a unique take on the witchcraft trope.
