The Detonator follows Sonni Griffith (played by Wesley Snipes), a former CIA agent who becomes a freelance operative after he is betrayed by his agency. Griffith is hired to protect a witness named Nadia Cominski (played by Silvia Colloca) as she travels across Europe to testify against a powerful arms dealer.
As Griffith and Nadia make their way through Germany, Austria, and Hungary, they become embroiled in a dangerous game of cat and mouse with the arms dealer's henchmen, who will stop at nothing to prevent Nadia from reaching the courtroom.
Along the way, Griffith must also confront his own personal demons, including the guilt he feels over the death of his wife and the strained relationship he has with his daughter.
As the tension builds, Griffith and Nadia are forced to rely on their wit, skill, and courage to outmaneuver their enemies and complete their mission. Will they be able to make it to the courtroom in time, or will the arms dealer's lethal forces catch up to them first?
