The Desperate Hours is a 1990 psychological thriller film directed by Michael Cimino, which was adapted from the novel of the same name by Joseph Hayes. The movie stars Mickey Rourke, Anthony Hopkins, and Mimi Rogers.
The storyline revolves around a family living in a wealthy suburb of Indianapolis who are taken hostage by three escaped convicts.
