The Desperado Trail is a 1965 Western film directed by Harald Reinl. It is part of the Winnetou series of films based on the novels by German author Karl May. The movie stars Lex Barker as Old Shatterhand and Pierre Brice as Winnetou.
The plot follows Old Shatterhand and Winnetou as they try to prevent a war between the settlers and the Jicarilla Apaches. The settlers are led by a ruthless land grabber named Rollins (played by Carl Lange), who wants to incite a conflict with the Indians in order to take control of their territory.

The movie features a number of action-packed scenes, including horse chases, gunfights, and fistfights. Along the way, Old Shatterhand and Winnetou form a close bond and work together to defeat Rollins and his gang.
