Dr. Alan Feinstone (played by Corbin Bernsen) is a successful dentist living in a wealthy suburb. He has a beautiful wife, Brooke (played by Linda Hoffman), and a luxurious lifestyle. However, in the midst of a newfound obsession with cleanliness and perfection, he begins to suspect that his wife is having an affair.
As his paranoia intensifies, Dr. Feinstone becomes increasingly unhinged. He takes out his frustrations on his patients, causing them unnecessary pain and mutilating their teeth in the process. His actions become more and more extreme until he finally snaps and commits a grisly murder.
