In the movie The Demons of Ludlow, the 18th-century piano that sits in the town hall of Ludlow was the site of a gruesome murder in the past. The piano had been cursed by a Frenchman who had been wronged by the town's founders. This curse causes the demon to possess anyone who plays the piano and drives them to violent acts.
After a mysterious stranger arrives in town, strange occurrences begin to happen. The townspeople start seeing apparitions of people who had been killed by the piano in the past. The stranger, who is a historian, discovers the truth about the demon and the curse. He enlists the help of a local musician and a psychic to stop the demon from wreaking havoc on the town.
As the demon gains more power, the deaths become more frequent and more gruesome. The group realizes that the only way to stop the demon is to destroy the piano. But doing so is not easy, as the demon will do whatever it takes to protect the cursed instrument.
