The Dead Ones is a horror-thriller film directed by Jeremy Kasten and released in 2019. The movie follows the story of four high school students - Alice, Scottie, Emily, and Louis - who find themselves imprisoned in their school after being assigned summer detention for various reasons. However, they soon learn that they are not alone in the school, as a twisted gang of masked individuals begins to hunt them down.
The gang, who call themselves The Four Horsemen Of The Apocalypse (Famine, Pestilence, War and Death), are dressed in costumes corresponding to their names and use various weapons and traps to try and kill the teenagers. The students quickly realize that they must work together to outsmart the Horsemen and escape the school alive.
As they navigate the school's dark and ominous hallways, the students confront supernatural forces and hauntings that seem to be linked to their personal traumas and struggles. Alice, played by Sarah Rose Harper, is haunted by the loss of her sister and struggles to accept her own sexuality. Scottie, played by Brandon Thane Wilson, has a troubled past involving addiction and abuse. Emily, played by Katie Foster, is a victim of bullying and struggles with self-harm. Louis, played by Torey Garza, is dealing with the aftermath of a violent crime he committed.
As they fight for survival, the students must confront the horrors of their past and find a way to overcome them in order to escape the deadly trap set by the Horsemen.
