As the mercenaries struggle to survive on the hostile alien planet, tensions rise within the group as they debate whether to stick together or split up in search of resources and a way off the planet. They soon discover that the planet is home to a highly intelligent and deadly predator known as the Dawnseeker, which has been hunting them since their arrival.
As the group is picked off one by one, they must confront their own fears and past mistakes in order to survive. But as they uncover the true nature of the Dawnseeker and its connection to the stardust they were sent to collect, they realize that their mission may be more dangerous than they ever imagined.
In a race against time, the surviving mercenaries must band together and use all of their skills and resources to outsmart the Dawnseeker and find a way to escape the planet before the sun goes supernova and wipes out all life on Earth. Along the way, they will have to face their own inner demons and learn to trust each other if they are to have any hope of surviving the deadly predator and completing their mission.
