The Crew follows the story of a group of four thieves, Charlie, Tony, Lynch, and Gino, who have been successful in carrying out robberies in the city. However, when Gino makes a grave error during a job, they are caught by the police.
With their lives on the line, the gang is given an ultimatum by the police - work for a notorious drug dealer named Mr. Zamora, or face a lengthy prison sentence. The gang reluctantly agrees and begins their dangerous mission to steal millions of dollars' worth of drugs from a rival gang for Zamora.
As they plan their heist, tensions rise within the group as they struggle to trust each other and their allegiance to Zamora. Complicating matters further, their families are also put in danger by Zamora's threats to harm them if the heist is unsuccessful.
The team finally executes their plan, but not without several harrowing twists and turns that leave them racing against time and evading both the police and rival gangs.
