The Craft is a 1996 supernatural horror film directed by Andrew Fleming. It follows the story of Sarah Bailey, a teenage girl who moves to Los Angeles and attends a Catholic high school. She befriends three other girls: Nancy, Rochelle and Bonnie, who are all interested in practicing witchcraft.
The four girls form a coven and use their newly found powers to take revenge on those who have wronged them. They begin to experience the benefits of their coven, such as improved self-confidence and a sense of empowerment. However, their powers soon get out of control and they begin to face the consequences of their actions.
The film also explores themes of alienation, peer pressure, and the desire to fit in. It received mixed reviews upon its release but has since become a cult classic and a touchstone for feminist horror films.
The cast includes Robin Tunney as Sarah Bailey, Fairuza Balk as Nancy Downs, Neve Campbell as Bonnie Harper, and Rachel True as Rochelle Zimmerman. The film also features performances from Skeet Ulrich, Christine Taylor, and Breckin Meyer.
