The scientist in question is named Dr. Lorenz, played by Bela Lugosi, and his wife is a former actress named Countess Lorenz, played by Elizabeth Russell. Dr. Lorenz believes that by injecting the fluid from the glands of virgin brides into his wife, he can keep her youthful and beautiful forever.

To aid in his sinister schemes, Dr. Lorenz enlists the help of an old hag named Fagah, played by Minerva Urecal, and her two sons. The brutish moron is named Angel, played by Frank Moran, and the malicious dwarf is named Toby, played by Angelo Rossitto.

The film follows a woman reporter named Patricia Hunter, played by Luana Walters, as she investigates the strange disappearances of young brides in the area. She eventually discovers Dr. Lorenz's connection to the disappearances and gains access to his home, where she uncovers the horrific truth about his experiments.
