The young woman, Mary, is accused of witchcraft after she is seen healing a sick child. She is set to be executed, but a group of nuns from a nearby priory intervene and save her. The priory is run by Mother Superior, who is strict and has a dark secret.
As Mary is brought into the priory, she is told that she must repent for her sins and stay there to ensure her safety from those who accused her. However, as time goes on, Mary begins to witness strange and terrifying occurrences in the priory.
She discovers that the nuns are involved in secret rituals and practices, and that Mother Superior is actually possessed by a demonic entity. Mary must fight to survive as she uncovers the truth about the priory and the evil that resides within.
As more secrets are revealed, Mary realizes that she must confront the demon and save herself and the other nuns before it's too late. The Convent is a chilling horror movie that explores the dark side of religion and the consequences of unchecked power.
