The Comancheros is a Western action-comedy film released by 20th Century Fox in 1961. The movie was directed by Michael Curtiz and starred John Wayne as Jake Cutter and Stuart Whitman as Paul Regret. The film was also the last movie Curtiz directed before his death.
The story takes place in the 1840s in Texas and follows the adventures of Texas Ranger Jake Cutter, who is tasked with capturing a notorious gambler named Paul Regret. However, things take an unexpected turn when Cutter discovers that Regret may be able to help him stop a group of dangerous arms dealers known as the Comancheros.
