The Clearing is a post-apocalyptic horror movie directed by David Matalon and starring Liam McIntyre, Aundrea Smith, and Steven Swadling. The movie follows a father named Tom (McIntyre), who must venture through a world overrun by zombies to find and rescue his daughter, Mira (Smith).
Tom is a cautious survivor who is always on the lookout for danger. When he receives a message from Mira that she is in trouble, he sets out on a dangerous journey to find her. Along the way, he encounters other survivors who become his allies or enemies. He also faces numerous obstacles, including hordes of zombies, violent raiders, harsh weather, and limited resources.
As Tom gets closer to Mira, he learns that she is being held captive by a group of ruthless raiders led by a man named Brooks (Swadling). Tom must navigate the raiders' stronghold, overcome their traps, and outsmart their leader to rescue his daughter.
The movie is a tense and suspenseful thriller with plenty of gory zombie action and intense fight scenes. It also explores the themes of family, survival, and sacrifice in a world where humanity is pushed to the brink.
