The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian is the second film in the Chronicles of Narnia film series. It is based on the novel of the same name by C.S. Lewis. The film was directed by Andrew Adamson and stars William Moseley, Anna Popplewell, Skandar Keynes, Georgie Henley, Ben Barnes and Eddie Izzard.
The movie begins with the four Pevensie siblings boarding a train to go back to school, seemingly leaving behind Narnia and their previous adventure. However, they are suddenly transported back to Narnia, only to find that centuries have passed since their last visit. The Telmarines, led by King Miraz, have invaded Narnia and oppressed its inhabitants, forcing the rightful heir, Prince Caspian, into hiding.
The Pevensies meet Prince Caspian, and together, they work to overthrow King Miraz and restore Narnia to its former glory. They are aided by a group of talking animals and mythic creatures, including Reepicheep the valiant mouse, Trumpkin the red dwarf, and the centaurs and fauns.
As the battle between good and evil unfolds, the Pevensies must confront their own doubts and fears, and learn to trust each other in order to save Narnia.
The film features breathtaking visuals, amazing special effects, and a thrilling soundtrack. It received generally positive reviews from critics and was a box office success. It was followed by the third film in the series, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.
