The Burial of Kojo is a 2018 Ghanaian film directed and written by Blitz Bazawule, and produced by Ama K Abrebese. The film follows Esi, a young girl who embarks on a magical journey to save her father, Kojo, who is trapped in a mine shaft by his vengeful brother, Kwabena.
As the story unfolds, we learn that Kojo and Kwabena have a bitter rivalry stemming from their childhood. Kojo believes that Kwabena was responsible for their father's death, and this animosity has only grown over the years. When Kojo gets trapped in the mine, Kwabena refuses to rescue him, using the opportunity to finally get his revenge.
