The 'Burbs is a 1989 comedy-horror film directed by Joe Dante and stars Tom Hanks as Ray Peterson, a middle-class suburbanite who is bored with his everyday life. When a strange family moves into the house next door, Ray and his friends become increasingly suspicious of their new neighbors.
