The Breed is a horror film released in 2006 directed by Nicholas Mastandrea. The movie starts with John and Matt, inheriting an island cabin from their uncle and planning to spend a relaxing weekend with their girlfriends there. The couples are joined by a couple of other friends, including Nicki, Matt's girlfriend.
Their idyllic vacation takes a dark turn when they find themselves being attacked by a pack of ferocious dogs. They quickly realize that the dogs are not ordinary, but have been bred to kill by an unknown organization. The group gets separated, and they struggle to survive as the dogs relentlessly hunt them down.
As they try to find a way off the island, they come across a training facility where the dogs have been genetically engineered to be more aggressive and lethal than ever before. They realize that the dogs were bred for military purposes, and the organization behind their creation has lost control of them.
The remaining survivors are left to fight for their lives as they try to escape the island while being pursued by the relentless pack of killer dogs. The movie ends with the surviving members of the group still fighting off the vicious dogs, unsure whether they will ever escape the island alive.
