The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day is a 2009 action crime thriller film, directed by Troy Duffy, and is the sequel to the 1999 film The Boondock Saints. Set several years after the first film, the story follows the MacManus brothers, who have been living in Ireland and laying low, after being falsely accused of murdering a priest.
However, when a Boston priest is murdered in the same manner as the one in the first film, the brothers are convinced that the killer is impersonating them. They decide to return to Boston and clear their names by taking down the new threat, which is linked to a powerful criminal organization.
The brothers are joined by their old friend, FBI Agent Paul Smecker's protege, Eunice Bloom, who is investigating the case from a different angle. They also recruit new allies, including Romeo, who is an ex-bouncer, and the duo of Gayle and Moe, who are explosive experts.
As the MacManus brothers hunt for the killer, they encounter a range of obstacles, including corrupt police officers and gangsters who want them dead. Meanwhile, the killer is revealed to be a fanatical disciple of the original film's villains, the Yakavetta crime family, who seeks revenge against the brothers and their allies.
The film climaxes in a bloody shootout, as the MacManus brothers and their team face off against their enemies in a bid to clear their names and bring justice to all involved.
